The job was the first phase of a new office and leisure development requiring excavation of over 16,000m3 of soil with lime stabilisation techniques used to improve the bearing capacity of the formations.
3 new office blocks required the installation of below ground drainage, reinforced concrete foundations and 3000m2 of power-floated reinforced concrete floors
Over 3,000m of storm water and foul water drainage was installed, to service both the first and subsequent phases of the development. The drainage included pipework varying in size up to 600mm diameter and up to 4.5m deep, including petrol interceptors and the extension of an existing circular, reinforced concrete, Archimedean bath.
