The Project

As the site was a disused brownfield site, we had to undertake an intensive land remediation package with a 12,000m3 on site muck shift. The excavated material was screened to produce aggregates for re-use on site prior to the commencement of the remainder of the groundwork package.

3,000m of foul and surface water drainage was installed on the site with both 500m3 storm-water attenuation tank and foul water pumping station incorporated within the system. Working closely with the client to value engineer the previously suggested drainage scheme.

200m of reinforced concrete and gabion retaining walls between 2m – 4m high were constructed across the site.

The apartments consisted of 2 no 650m2 basements with podium slabs over. The remaining plots were founded on piled reinforced concrete foundations.

Externally, the incoming services and street lighting were installed within our package and we have constructed 7,500m2 of adoptable roads, paths, driveways and patios across the development.
